Michelle Dimitris grew up loving fashion and art and always knew she would pursue a career involving creativity. She quickly realized that making millions on her wannabe Bob Ross paintings was nearly impossible, so she moved on to the fashion industry to design and manufacture clothing. Michelle currently works as a freelance designer in Chicago, pattern making for other designers and custom designing and constructing clothing for private clients. She recently worked for Lara Miller, an eco-friendly women’s wear designer as a Production Manager, and for Beta Boutique as the Store Manager and Sample Sale Event Planner.

Michelle’s designs and style are inspired by the 60s and 70s and by elements of clothing that remind her of what she used to see and wear as a child. Her favorite items to wear are cozy sweaters, tights, boots, anything colorful and lots of layers.
